Can a wife ask for both maintenance and alimony ?

My wife left me and went to abroad with my child to live with her parents in abroad. She also gave an online police complaint against me for domestic violence with no evidence. I filed a HMOP divorce petition. She then filed a separate Maintenance case in a different court which is still in progress. Now she has also filed petition for permanent alimony to my HMOP case in sub court. Is a wife eligible for both maintenance and permanent alimony when the Hushband files the divorce case ?

only under the Indian divorce act for the Christians the permanent early money is provided for Hindu Marriage Act there is no provision for the permanent early morning but in Hindus under the mutual consent the permanent early money was considered and once if the permanent early money is granted then the monthly maintenance need not be provided to the spouse so until the permanent early money the entry maintenance can be provided for

Can't claim both these reliefs simultaneously. Bring the fact of pendency of maintenance petition to the court which hears petition for permanent alimony and get the second one dismissed. You can defend her claim if her income is good than you.
