Can a husband sue his wife for compensation after khula

I'm 25 years old with a 3 year old child .I'm opting for khula from my husband.the reason is because of domestic abuse and he is not providing for me and my son.we are living seperately for last 3 years.can my husband sue me for compensation if I give him khula?

In the case of Khula initiated by the wife, it is her responsibility to provide consideration to her husband, which may include returning her mahr. Failure by the wife to provide consideration could entitle the husband to demand restitution of conjugal rights.
