Can a clerical mistake be corrected in already filed petition

I file a petition of sec 9 against my wife.but there is some clerical mistake which I noticed. Hearing date is after one month. Date is ok but due to clerical mistake month mentioned of next in place of current. My point is can next party file case against me and can hearing date shall before they mention??? Pl suggest.

You can file a amendment application under order 6 rule 17 for amendments this is only remedy you have for time being... or you can withdraw your case with the permission to file new case with amendment

You can amend your petition if you found any mistake clerical or arithmetic at initial stages of proceeding by filing the Amendment application before the Court. After Amendment you will not held liable for any other proceeding

You can make corrections in your petition by moving an application under Order 6 Rule 17 of CPC, there is no issues regarding the same, but you can't make major changes in your pleading, which could change your prayer in the petition
