can 498a be quashed on the grounds of adultery

can i quash the 498a on me if my partner is indulged in adultery,.

No, 498A cannot be quashed by proving that your wife is in adultery , because both adultery and 498A are different matters. but you can take this adultery as a ground in to proof your innocence and by use a ground of adultery you also can file a Divorce petition
