Alimony calculation for monthly and lumpsum amount

Hi , I want to know how much alimony do I need to pay to my wife in lump sum or mobthly. We are married for 11 years 5 months. I earn 1.5 lakh a month and don't have any assets or property. I'm Hindu by religion.

Basically it is half of what you earn. Lump sum could be whatever you can negotiate. I believe it should be around 35 lakhs to 50 lakhs. Most important thing is to give her on a monthly basis, this is because when she marries someone else you wouldn't e required to pay her. So there is no point in paying lump sum when probably she will marry someone else or maintains illicit relationship. Let that someone take care of her expenses and you limit your liability as far as possible.

It will depend upon many factors like if your wife is also earning then the maintenance can be reduced or even be declared as nil. You both need to file your income affidavits according to which the maintenance will be decided. For more legal assistance I am just a call away.

it depends on many things and firstly are you taking divorce or what. alimony is calculated not only on your basis but on many factors and your children also plays an important role. so you have to first be clear what you really want

The alimony depends on the life style of girls at the time of Marriage,if she also is earning and also possesses some educational qualification,then The alimony will be decided by court 10k to 20k , if any child from the marriage,then it may be more .

first of all u have entered into mutual settlement agreement in which all the conditions are describe then accordingly u paid the alimony or If the case is contested then u have to pay the alimony according to the court order
