After FIR how many days left for charge sheet ON 498A CASE

Wants to know what are the steps after filling a FIR against a husband on 498a by wife .And when husband will file a bail in first hearing of court. And one more thing police is supporting, only signed in 41 acrpc.

First of all when you file an FIR u/s 498-A the police will issue notice to the accused husband under section 41-A of the CrPC and the accused husband has to go to the police station and give an undertaking that he will appear before the concerned magistrate each and every time and when required and called upon to be present before the court. Then your FIR along with the report of the police will be sent to the nearest magistrate by the police officials. Then investigation will continue and at the end of the investigation the Police will file chargesheet against the accused husband in the court of law.
