admissability of reasons for seeking divorce (without alimony)

22-Nov-2023 (In Divorce Law)
hello, I need a divorce from my wife (both hindus). Wife is not working, we have no child. I did not take any dowry for marriage. nWife took backup of her phone on my laptop. While going through the backup, I found list of call recordings where I found, wife records all phone calls. In the call records, my wife hurled numerous verbal abuses to me and my mother while speaking with her parents, sister & friends. She also threatened physical harm to my mother. She also discussed matters related to physical relations and private family matters with her friends. I also found that she spoke to a male person about her marital problems, during which I found that both were past lovers. Wife is not aware that I have above call records. We had multiple marital arguments, however, with knowledge of call recordings, I have lost hope in the marriage. My question is,n1. Are the above sufficient reasons to go for divorce citing cruelty?n2. What is the possibility of alimony in case of divorce?

If the behaviour of your wife is intolerable towards you then you can always file for divorce against her under cruelty grounds. I would suggest you to go for the mutual divorce because it is less money consuming and ends up in maximum of six months. For more legal assistance I am just a call away.
