Abandonment and adultery, no support

I am a foreigner married to an Indian citizen, my husband decided he no longer wanted to be with me and now he stopped all sorts of communication however i have asked him to file for a divorce if he wishes to go on separate lives however he didn’t reply. Last December 2020 i found out that he was cheating when he wrongly sent a txt message to me and he admitted that he did cheated. I haven’t ask any monetary assistance from him also. The reason he is confident in abandoning is because our marriage was not registered in the court due to conflict of schedule but marriage rites were performed at the temple. Please advise me on what to do.
As the marriage was performed in a temple as per rituals, hence, the marriage is a valid one. He is deserting you and there is no consummation of marriage which makes a good ground for divorce. Non registration of marriage is not an issue in a divorce proceeding. The marriage is a valid one and as you are wanting divorce then come forward and file your divorce.

If your husband is confident about your marriage being not registered then it becomes easier for you, you don't need to file a divorce, you can easily move on from their. And in case you need a legal proof of separation so that you don't face any legal complicacy in future then you should collect all the documents relating to your marriage to prove your marital status.
