6 months cooling period waiver: Filing mutual consent divorce

Hi Me and my wife are staying separately for almost 2 years now . And we want to file mutual consent divorce. Is it possible to get the divorce decree with in 6 months of filing divorce ? How ? Or Do we have to wait for at least 6 months to get divorce decree?

Hello, Yes you can file application before the Hon'ble Family Court for waiving the cooling period in divorce petition by mutual consent if the couple is living separately for over 2 years and the marriage has broken down irretrievably and emotionally.

Hi ,the divorce decree can be granted within a month if the separation is more than one and a half years …Also six months is the cooling off period which can be waived off after filing of an waiver application ….
