threat calls and leak of personal photos on social media what to do

I recently received a call from abroad from an unknown person to my phone in Australia showing my wife personal photos and threatening me to divorce her. My question is if, I lodge a complaint in India will it come under Indian jurisdiction and laws since the crime was done outside India and also the call was received in Australia. so is it better to make a complaint in Austraila? please advice.
it is better to file the complaint in Australia, if the other number is belongs to australian telecom companies.
