Sister in law filed complaint against me for abusive messages

My husband has misused my phone and sen Gmail and Facebook messages to my relatives by my name. Now my sister in law took screenshot of the messages and sent to my friends stating I misbehave with her and her mother. Then she went on to lodge a complaint by my name for those messages. In this situation what can I do?
Has FIR been registered against you. Or the police is yet to register it kindly check. And under what sections of the IT act the complainant has filed the complaint. Try to speak with the complainant and sort the things outside court and you may give a written apology to the complainant and police stating you won't do anything like this future.
