"Hi, my friend made a mistake while drunk. He threatened a girl from the UK on snapchat. He's in India, but she thinks he's in the USA. They don't know each other's real names. We're unsure what to do next."

If your identity is not known to the opposite party then you need not worry. But it will depend what threat you have given to that party. And if she doesn't belong here then I don't think she can do something. Just save the chats on your phone just in case she goes doing something nasty in future.
