previous overseas criminal record hamper travelling overseas again

09-May-2023 (In Cyber Crime Law)
Greetings of the day, I stayed in new zealand for 5 years. I pleaded guilty and got conviction in new zealand for two charges both rolled together at final hearing: 1) disturbing use of telephone (against a mexican girl) 2) common assault ( for touching hair of a brazilian female while she was sleeping) I had to pay fine and was given a chance to leave the country voluntarily to prevent any corrective action. I decided to leave the country back to india. Now I want to study abroad in australia /canada/usa /europe and work. What are my chances for these four places and would I benefit from spent conviction of new zealand after 5 years or will I have to always show full criminal record to all the above places I wish to visit? I would really appreciate your advice since my whole career has come to a stop not knowing the international laws which countries can i visit. I criminal record in India is Clean as ever. how to deal with it?

1) Have you applied to any of the university in abroad?
If yes! Have they ask for the last 5 year / 10 years records??

2) When were you convited and when you retured to India?

3) Are you an INDIAN CITIZEN ?

I dont think that you find any trouble unless they ask for the last 10 year conviction of any kind . Since, your record is clear in here India you still have chance to go abroad and study.

As per my study and information Canada will be good for you. There you are just asked for the purpose and your past education documents, which i think you might have done from India only.
