OLX fraud - cheque bounce and left unpaid 82,500
10-Oct-2023 (In Cyber Crime Law)
In mid October 2017, I sold my laptop in OLX for 82,500 cheque payment and the cheque got bounced. Later, the buyer quarreled and started threatening me. I sold my laptop as I am leaving India soon and I did not file any complaint due to this reason. I left India in 1st week of November 2017. Its been a year now and I would like to deal with the buyer legally. I would like to hear some advise on how to proceed.
1. The limitation to file cheque bounce case is over now.
2. You may file cheating complaint against the buyer with near by police station.
3. You may also make a complaint with cyber crime police for online fraud.
4. You may discuss with me for further details.
