Legality of tor browser in India

Hello, My question was related to use of tor browser or any encrypted technology like I2P/Trials/Freenet in india. I am student & want to work as entrepreneur in defense sector. Do i get stuck in legal process if i search or do any defense related query on internet or ask sucj information which can take me into trouble Please guide me at your kindness, Regards, Prashant

I will be a little direct in my answer because I fear that you are trying to ask something indirectly in your question.

First of all, searching about the defence sector on the Internet is not a crime. If something is classified, you would have access to that.

TOR browser does not give you access to such restricted files. It only hides your IP address and other details.

If you have something illegal in mind that you wish to do with TOR browser, do not think that you cannot be tracked. Because you are traceable by other means and you will get in a huge trouble.

Also, I would personally suggest you make all your searches regarding the defence sector without trying to hide. That way you will have access only to those files which are public and that will keep you far from trouble.
