Leaking of personal information

The police has not acted on a complaint filed by me in the police station. I have even spoken to the SHO, but to no avail. They have refused on the grounds of no proof. What should be my step? I believe that the police should find the proof given the nature of the case.

First of all you need to send your complaint in writing to the police station of your area. And also copy the same to the DCP of your area and to the CP. After that if they take some legal action then it’s good and if not then you need to file under section 156(3) for registration of FIR. For more legal assistance I am just a call away.
