My account k was frozen on 29/01/2026 and I was informed that the freeze was due to a payment I received from an online gaming platform.
You will need to contact the police station where the police have asked your bank to freeze the account. And the current Subbulakshmi v. Commissioner of Police, 2013 SCC OnLine Mad 1460, held that freezing of a bank account without informing the jurisdictional Magistrate is illegal and unsustainable.
