I lost 10,000 rupees in call girl scam.

16-Nov-2023 (In Cyber Crime Law)
I got a message saying contact on WhatsApp for call girl. I don't know what I was thinking but i stupidly believed it. I paid 2000 for 1 hour video call and 5000 as security deposit. Video call 5 mins it got cut. Lady wasn't nude. Call came pay 3000 and we won't make video viral. I paid them 3000 and deleted chats etc. I made anonymous complaint on cyber crime portal and blocked everything from scammer but I'm afraid he will make video viral.

It seems that you've been duped by professional scammers. Your first and foremost mistake was to pay them, which is a legal acceptance of commerical prostitution and involvement in illegal activities. It is advisable not to response to any of the demands from xyz unknown numbers. You may seek legal or police help. But these scamsters operate with a skilled gangs. They also pose and pretend to be police officers as WhatsApp business accounts and relevant links which are misleading and false. Be aware that nothing can affect you, if you haven't done anything wrong. However, if you're dealing with the professional scammers, you should hire professional assistance in protecting your legal rights. Do not take it casually. You are still at the risk of further being duped by different modus operandi. Do not pay without confirming anything. You have paid once, you're on their radar now.
