Hi... first we have to see what type of comment you posted on Facebook and normally if u commenting any thing in social media you will not be arrested and if any one threatens for the same reason you can file case against them.
Thank you

1. Comments on face book posts attract Sec. 66a of IT act which is already quashed by SC. So you do not need to worry about cyber crime registering case against you.

2. For the harassment you are facing from them, you can file FIR against them u/s 66,67 of IT act with cyber crime police.

3. You can approach a lawyer and lawyer can file a complaint on behalf of you. You do not need to visit the station.

I commented on one post on Facebook about TN Government policies /people. did someone complain in CCB? How to come out of the legal proceeding? Is there any way to ask apology?

If you commented on a post on Facebook about TN Government policies or people, and someone complained in Cyber Crime Branch, you may face legal action depending on the nature and content of your comment under the various penal provisions of the IT Act and IPC, which punishes sending offensive or menacing messages, publishing or transmitting obscene material in electronic form, including defamation, intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of peace and making statements conducing to public mischief respectively.
Therefore, if your comment on Facebook falls under any of these categories, you may be liable for legal action by CCB or any other authority. The legal action may include blocking your account, removing your comment, issuing a notice to you, filing an FIR against you, etc.
As for asking apology for your comment, it may depend on various factors such as the nature and content of your comment and whether the person/entity to whom you want to apologize is willing to accept your apology or not and whether the legal consequences of your apology will amount to an admission of guilt or liability or not.
It is advised that you should consult a criminal lawyer who can advise you on the best course of action based on your specific circumstances. You can do that by clicking on the link below.
