Working in armed forces and criminal case against me what consequences
19-Aug-2023 (In Criminal Law)
I am working in armed force. I have a criminal case against me. I have not informed here regarding my case. Due to my service condition, I am unable to attend the hearing.... I want to know that should I have inform my service about it. Second, will this case affect me in getting a civil govt job after completion of my service in armed force.
Please file petition before the High court to quash the FIR. also please entrust an advocate to conduct the case before the lower court.
or settle the matter with the de-facto complainant. There is no other way.

Hi,
Pending a criminal case in a court not connected with Service matters may not make any adverse effect to your Service. You must engage a Lawyer for conducting the case, also you should inform your Superior Officer so that he can help you by granting Annual/Casual Leave (from you entitlement) for attending Court as it is a Criminal case. Also inform your difficulty in attending every hearing to the Lawyer who appears for you in Criminal Court, so that he can also help you little bit. Also, please note that once you acquitted in the case, it will not be barred you from getting a Civil job after your retirement from Force.
Wishing you all the best & have a peaceful life.
