Hi, At a glance, you need not to worry as it seems from your query that the case is closed since you have fined with an amount of Rs 4,500/- in the year 1024 and no appeal was filed by State. However, you must inform the employer about this case and just believe that such a statement from your part will not cause any harm to you. Last but not least, as you said, you are selected in Kerala police, you must make sure that people in the Society should get justice from you and be a good Police person, achieve all promotions in time. Q: What can i do if someone makes false allegations against me ?

Sir, a person falsely filed a criminal case against me. The witnesses stated they had no knowledge of the incident, yet the police falsely wrote a charge sheet against me. If the case is proven false, what legal action can I take against the complainant and the police for false harassment? What is the law against false allegations in India? Advocate Rajesh Nedumprom answered

What to Do If Witnesses Turn Hostile in a False Case?

If the witnesses withdraw their statements or claim they do not know about the incident, this strengthens your case. Here's what you can do:
  • Use their statements as evidence to prove the case was fabricated.
  • File a petition in the High Court for quashing the FIR under Section 482 CrPc (Section 528 BNSS).
  • File a defamation case under Section 499 IPC [Section 356 (1) BNS] if the false case harmed your reputation.
  • Take legal action against the complainant under Section 182 IPC (Section 217 BNS) (giving false information) and Section 211 IPC (Section 248 BNS) (false charge).
