Will an accused in motor accident be eligible to apply for gift job

A bike rider hit the car from front at the turn of the small width lane in the row house colony. He filed the case against us. The case is pending in the court from last 4 years. The judge adviced us to settle the case in Lok adalat. Driver of the car is not a govt server. But in future there is a chance to go for govt job. Plz advice.
if the matter is amicably settled between both the parties, then the case against the person also gets over, so there should not be any problems while applying for a government job, but while applying the job you need to be careful and read all the instructions properly before hand and apply.

Please note that any government job requires background check and pendency of criminal case will adversely impact your selection. It is preferable to settle the matter in Lok Adalat and enter a compromise whereby all criminal cases pending against you will be withdrawn as per the terms of the Agreement.
