Wife lodged FIR against me and family police want everyone to come

09-Dec-2023 (In Criminal Law)
My wife lodged F.I.R against me, my parents, sisters, brother, and sister's husband. Thoughmy sisters live far from my place, the I.O. wants all listed to appear before her. Is it compulsory for my sisters and their husbands to comply?

Your Sister and her husband can appear once and state the facts to the concerned police officials that they have nothing to do with the alleged offence otherwise police may deliberately drag them into it for bringing undue pressure upon you to settle the matter. You appear there once and sort out the things but before going there take appropriate legal advice from a qualified advocate through Law Rato .
