Who to do in case of complaint lodged for social media abuse ?

Hello I am Dr Ritwik . Me and my wife legally married for 2.5 years but we are not socially married till now .Last year she had developed delusions of me being with other girlfriens , getting physical with them especially my batchmates of IIM calcutta . She has severe anxiety disorder, dystonia of legs , and freq mood swings . She is on medication for that under a neuro psychiatrist and neurologist and taking counselling sessions but occassionally she will text abusive words to my lady friends in messenger . But it was better after medication, counselling untill yesterday she texted abuses to one my lady friend in social media in timeline . She texted her such thing in messenger last feb out of suspicion, delusion , insecurity, anger . But this time my lady friend is threatening me that she will put both of us in jail even after I said sorry, her mom also said sorry , asked her to block unknown texts What to do now ?

S. 66A. Punishment for sending offensive messages through communication service, etc.—Any person who sends, by means of a computer resource or a communication device,—
(a) any information that is grossly offensive or has meaning character, or
(b) any information which he knows to be false, but for the purpose of causing annoyance, inconvenience, danger, obstruction, insult, injury, criminal intimidation, enmity, hatred or ill will, persistently by making use of such computer resource or a communication device; or
(c) any electronic mail or electronic mail massage for the purpose of causing annoyance or inconvenience or to deceive or to mislead the addressee or recipient about the origin of such massage,
shall be punishable with imprisonment for a term which may extend to three years and with fine.
Explanation.—For the purposes of this section, terms “electronic mail” and “electronic mail message” means a message or information created to transmitted or received on a computer, computer system, computer resource or communication device including attachments in text, image, audio, video and any other electronic record, which may be transmitted with the message.
