What to do when the police are not investigating on forgery

23-Jul-2023 (In Criminal Law)
I have filed a case of car along with documents stolen at Yelahanka police station almost 3 years back. I assisted the police in catching the culprit as he was a known person. He came out on bail later & is absconding now. My 2cars documents were forged & transferred to 2different people & he took the money. Now police are not investing on the forgery & blaming me I officially that I’m together with the culprit in this. Could you’ll please advice me on what action can be taken. Regards, Prashanthi

Dear Prashanthi,
You need to understand when someone forged the document and sold the car, you need to inform the police and in case if they don't take it seriously then you need to complain against such officer to the commissioner of police.

Regarding the theft it's different we may discuss further.

Hi.... You just ask the police what is the present stage of your case and if accused is absconding you tel the police to trace out other wise you will complain to the higher court and if your case is before the court you can request in the court only.

if you are not satisfied with the investigation of the police , please approach the court and file a complaint. the same will be registered as a PCR and you can enumerate the forgery and if the court thinks fit, it will order the police to investigate your allegations
