Even if your name is not there in the FIR it can be added later on in the Final Charge Sheet, however u can approach the High Court U/s 482 Cr.P.C. for quashment of case against u on the point that Your are not named in the FIR and ur job was just to count the cash and tally, if the cash was consisting of some chemical and it was put in your drawer by some one, how wud u know abt it and moreover charges or complaint of corruption was not against you so you deserve to be set free from the case.

I think your submissions are incomplete, the description of each and everything instance is missing, your implication is not disclosed, you said just because the tainted money was discovered from your desk, you have been arrayed as an accused, anyway i think your bank must have C.C.TV cameras installed, which can clear the scenario, more so if you are not the accomplished you should have retaliated to the agency/bank authorities by giving in writing, that you have nothing to do with the Tainted Money and the Manager has kept the money for which you protest, further it is advisable that your protest must also be intimated to your Senior Officers as at the time of according sanction it can be considered, as far as contesting is concern if you are charge-sheeted and sanction has been given against you, my only advise to you would be don't waste time & Money in higher courts rather engage a senior sensible lawyer for yourself and contest the trial as far as possible. Rest best of luck, do not panic, it's only a bad time which will pass on by as it never remains the same !!!
