Move an application before the concerned court regarding your concern. The court upon calling the status report from the concerned Investigating Officer, and subject to appropriate conditions will definately return the same to its lawful owner.

Hi,

Please note, if your phone is a case property, then till the FSL report is submitted, you will not get the same back. You can give them an application in writing to return the same to you and take a confirmation from them. You will have to wait for some time to support Crime Branch. It is suggested to contact us and discuss your matter in person so that we can guide you properly because with your querry, it is not clear that whether you are a victim, accused or a witness. This is the general practise to send the phone to the FSL. It is done to test the genuineness of the electronic evidence (whether it has been tampered or not). This process usually takes time. On the alternative, we can move the application in the Court where the matter is pending to instruct the FSL to expedite the process, so that your phone can be returned back.
