What to do if the other party does not appear in court

20-Jun-2023 (In Criminal Law)
Hi, We have applied for the bail from the court (KKD), but Investigating Officer and opposition family didn't show up today. The judge gave the new date, which is tomorrow. What if they still don't show up tomorrow, in that case, how can we get the bail?

Dear sir,
If the investigating officer didn't come you may ask to the judge to hear your bail application in the light of material on record and in the light of your bail application.since your question does not disclose kind of charges it can't be answered well

On your behalf the defence lawyer have to argue on bail application . Meanwhile Public Prosecutor will argue on behalf of state ,complainant . As far as the non appearance of complaint is concerned it is in the hands of Hon'ble Judge whether to summon or issue warrant against complainant to let them appear before the court ,,, U can contact me for further details
