What to do if a consultancy company commits cheating

I was cheated by a consultancy saying that he will give a job oppurtunity in big company . he makes time pass from me saying that you should pay some amount to for getting your interview schedule,and for mail purpose . and at last he did not give me a job and also he did not give me any money . please help me for getting my money back I have proofs like cheques,and the mails with me is these will be useful for me .how i should proceed

You could file criminal cases of cheating, fraud and criminal breach of trust against the consultancy by getting the police register FIR against the consultancy or you could file a consumer complaint against the consultancy with the jurisdictional consumer forum where the consultancy has its office of business or where the cause of action has arisen to file the complaint. Consult a local lawyer in person, show the documents and proceed further.
