What legal actions can be taken against bigamy?

if husband do 2nd marriage hide from 1st wife then what can do 1st wife,i think latest judgement issued form delhi highcourt for ipc act 376..if you can provide this type of latest judgement... I hope you will helpfull above and oblige..
Consummating 2nd Marriage, during the subsistence of 1st Marriage is illegal and void and same amounts to offence of Bigamy. There is no judgment required, since Section 494 IPC is clear.
You mentioned about IPC Section 376. This is pertaining to offence of Rape. Offence u/s 376 has to be independently proved and it is different then offence u/s 494. However, one of the grounds to constitute 376 could be that, consent was taken by playing fraud and misrepresentation. However, facts of case has to be considered before giving subjective opinion.
