What is the procedure of Quashing of FIR & Stay on Case hearing

What do i need to get my FIR quashed and how to approach HC with what evidences etc. Also when i apply for quashing of FIR , does the HC gives a date or hear it then itself. If given a date then after how much time on an average does it gives a date and can we rush it if the court date for hearing is after a week and we need a stay on it. What are other ways to get Stay on hearing of case.
Vaguely put, the HC will hear the matter urgently and may order for quashing the FIR if it opines that the FIR was made to defame the person. You will have to get all the proofs that you have to support your claim. You will have to let me know the nature of the offence and the section under which the FIR was filed, only then I would be able to give you a very substantive answer.

To get the FIR Quashed firstly you need to involve a counsel in the same then a quashing petition can be filed u/s 482 i.e inherent powers of the court as soon as quashing petition is filed then it will be listed for hearing and same can be quashed.Please contact for further details thanks.
