What happens if a person beats police officer in india in public?

13-May-2023 (In Criminal Law)
Physical assault and battery are non cognizable. So, for e.g. if some person keeps beating people around, then what happens? As they can't be arrested immediately because it's not cognizable

This will be wrong to say that he/she can’t be arrested. Even if it’s non-cognizable offences he/she can be arrested under the DP Act for destroying the peace of the society. For more legal assistance I am just a call away.
