What can be done for registration of FIR with a wrong intention ?

Sir, suppose police has registered wrong FIR on basis of incorrect info and malafide intention , then what course of action needs to be done.can I ask for change in FIR

Dear queryest you did not mention you are complaint or the fir is being filed against you, if the fir being on basis of incorrect info investigation Officer will file closer report after completing his investigation

No sir, if once fir has been registered, then you cant ask for changing the contents of the fir, even police cant change contents of any fir once it has been registered,you can disclose true facts of the case to investigation officer of the case or higher officer of the police, they can hep you, if they dont help you, in that case you should apply for anticipatory bail.

Hi, if the FIR has been lodged on vague and baseless grounds you can file for quashing of FIR in high court under section 482 Crpc .. High court has discretion to cancel the FIR if it has been registered falsely
