Sir, I finished my college and iam preparing for civil service ..when iam in second year , me and collegium protested against the government . By the next year (3year) the police filled FIR and given summon to us ...they told to come court for criminal trial ...... The case is in process by hearing but not at all finished .. ...the police department said they didn't issue summon to other people so let them give summon to others and we can finish....... An FIR against you indicates criminal record against you. If you are desirous of being exonerated from the said proceedings, you can go for quashing of the proceedings or file for discharge. This would clear you of criminal charges and won't come in way to appear for UPSC
