What is the minimum time for investigation for submitting a charge sheet fir taken on 2021/10/16 if delayed what action to be done where to complaint
it depends upon the section, In Cognisable offences like murder, rape, attempt to murder etc, if any person is in custody, So its 90 days of time period for submission of chargesheet. And in some sections its 60 days. for details kindly rate this profile and contact me

If the accused is in jail or police custody, under 167 Cr. P.C. he/she will be entitled to bail if charge sheet is not filed within 60 / 90 days. Chargesheet can be filed in span of 60, 90 and 120 days depending upon the level of crime committed. In heinous crimes the time limit is 30 days also. For more legal assistance I am just a call away.

depending upon the office the time period of charge sheet is decided ..... but since its pending since 2021 Oct it should be filed by now.... you can approach the court to direct the police investigation agency to file action taken report so as to know wats the status of your case and from there on you can keep proceeding further with the case
