Theft at my residence and case going for 5 yrs no justice what to do

Sir there was a theft at my residence on 13.4.2013 and a FIR was filed at Electronics city police station. Jewellery worth 650 gms and cash more than Rs.45000/ and other items were stolen Its going to be five years and the case is still not solved. No justice and each time the department says they are investigating, What is the waiting period for the case to be closed. How long should i wait for justice. What are the legal procedures. I have no money or do i know influential people to recommend. I am from an average middle class.

There should have closed the case by now. Please file a RTI application seeking details from. Commissioner of Police Bangalore . You have to give the date of complaint or crime number He will do the needful by referring the same to Inspector of police.

1. You might have taken legal course bit earlier. It is delayed. Any how already police should have filed investigation reports in the court. Hire a lawyer and get the copy of the report and review them. If you are not satisfied with the report then you may approach court to get direction for some other officer to investigate on your case.
