Surety Substitution in Criminal Case Bail

10-Jan-2023 (In Criminal Law)
Hi, my uncle is on bail and one of the sureties wants to sell his house for personal reasons? Will my uncle need to go to jail for a few days for the processing of Surety Substitution? Does it depend on the Judge's mood to send him to jail for a few days? If the Judge asks him to go to jail, will he have an option to either go to jail or talk to his surety to postpone his house selling and not go ahead with Surety Substitution? Because if he goes to jail even for a day or two, he might lose his job.

engage a lawyer who will put the bext best

thing ie cash or FD or some other property like

car etc. and the house can be removed from

the surety.
he can then be free. an application has to be moved.
he doesn't have to go to jail.
