Summons issued in the name of hospital and doctors

A common summons has been issued in name if hospital and four doctors which has been recd by hospital.I am one of named doctors but no longer with hospital. Do I need to respond?

You will have to respond to the summons and show your appearance before the court and will have to say that you are no longer associated with the hospital by showing necessary and relevant documents.

Yes, You need to respond that summons because it was related with any previous event happened at your hospital when you ware working over there and during investigation court found it necessary to know the facts or need to verified that action.
Just confirm with hospital also about that event and your presence at that time.
