Summons issued for IPC 465, 468, 471, 420 and 201.

12-Aug-2025 (In Criminal Law)
I have already secured a bail from High court for a FIR registered against me for IPC 465, 468, 471, 420 claiming I cheated my 2 brothers and faurged 1 brother' s signature in a rental agreement for a shop co owned by 3 of us(Rent value for 1 year: 84,000). Prosecution claims without any proof that I have destroyed the original evidence (rental agreement). Now I have received a summons from court for above 4 sections plus IPC 201. Is another bail needed for this court summons(not warrant).

no. you can file a statement for continuing bail if you had executed bond after getting bail. first of all you have to clarify whether you had taken anticipatory bail or regular bail. if bond is executed at the police station you have to take bail after summons

yes. you have to appear before the concern magistrate court and execute a bail bond. if you are not appearing before the court subsequent to the recieving of the summons, you will be issued with the warrant. once you have already obtained anl bail from high to court, and you have executed it before the jurisdictional court, you can either file a petition in court seeking permission to continue on same bail bond or you can execute a fresh bail bond
