Suicide and false case threat from Girl

My brother had a relationship of 1 yr with a girl but now due to her physical assault, bad habits like smoking and drinking he don’t want to marry her. So the girl is threatening him for a suicide or a case under “false marriage promise”. Kindly let me know initial steps in order to safeguard boy from false charges

You need to be proactive and take the first step. Unfortunately our laws are skewed towards the girl’s side, however, there are things you can do to safeguard your brother from any impending adverse action. Things like sending a legal notice and having court order her to stay away can be pursued.
