Statutory rape complaint against me by my ex girlfriends parents

29-Jul-2023 (In Criminal Law)
I started dating a girl in march 2019( she was 17 years at that time and i was 19) and we took some bad decisions and eloped against our family will, her parents filed a case under POCSO act upon me (we had sexual contact which was consentual), we returned after a few days and her parents withdrew the complaint (they expected me to marry her in future) and stated in police that she had ran away from her family alone by her own free will without me in the picture and also that they had wrongly accused me. She turned 18 this year January 2020, we again had sexual contact after she turned 18 but im the month of February we stopped having any physical contact. It is August now, 7 months since she is an adult, i have all the proofs(whatsapp texts) that it was consentual after she turned 18. I have broken up with her a few days back but worried they might register a complaint against me. I wanted to clarify if they can bring up the past matters again and use it against me now.

They can raise up the past matter if they want to. But Girls Parents need to have proof against you that you indulged in sex with her or fucked their daughter before she turned 18. Well, without proof, they still can file a case by managing the Police Officials, at such crucial point of time, I have to come in your defence as a lawyer.
