Someone online friend ask me for meeting. when I went to meet with him, he and his 2 friends slapped me 7-8 times and ask me to give all the wallet, mobile, smart watch etc. After that they go to the atm and forced me for atm pin, due to safety I given my atm pin to them. They withdrawal all my money. After that they leave. I went to gurgaon station police they ask to file in respective police station which I don't know. After that I lodged online fIR in my town in other state. This will work
if that type of inccident happen with you by your online friends then you should file a FIR at cyber police station at district headquarter...and also you should file a FIR of section 384, 379 IPC against them
Jis Jagah per crime Hota Hai FIR Udhar hi darj Karani padegi Agar Police FIR darj na karen to aap Court ke dwara bhi darj kara sakte hain / जांच या अन्य किसी बहाने से पुलिस एफआईआर दर्ज करने से इनकार नहीं कर सकती। पीड़ित कोर्ट की शरण में जाकर धारा 156 (3) के जरिए इस्तगासे से एफआईआर दर्ज करवाते हैं।
To provide you with a valuable response, here are some points to consider based on the information provided:
1. The online FIR will work- In India, an FIR is a standard legal procedure to report the commission of any cognizable offence. You did the right thing by registering an FIR online. Online FIRs carry the same weight as regular FIRs. You will receive a copy of the FIR on your registered email ID and the concerned police station will also receive your complaint. 2. It is advisable to follow up with the concerned Police Station: After registering the FIR, it is advisable to follow up with the concerned police station to check the status of your complaint. If required, follow up with the police authorities with reminders and attendance. 3. Legal Counsel - You acted efficiently by filing the online FIR, but you must also consult with a competent lawyer who can guide you appropriately to deal with the case's legal aspects and representative if required. 4. Cooperation - Cooperate with the concerned police authorities if they require any assistance or information from you. 5. Stay Safe - Make sure to take only necessary risks when meeting strangers or unknown persons. Whenever possible, inform your friends or family about your whereabouts, especially when you plan to travel or meet someone you met online. Remember to keep the evidence of your wallet, mobile, and smartwatch, especially if any of them had any important documents, and always remit the concerned bank officials if you happen to disclose your ATM pin in such incidents.
