Some aunty in my society shared video of my daughter and her boyfriend

Hi! My 20 year old daughter was hanging out in the park with her boyfriend (which btw i have advised her against knowing people in India) but some woman had shared video of her kissing. Do I have grounds to sue?
Yes you are very within your rights to lodge police complaint against that lady as her act constitutes an offence of Voyeurism incorporated under section 77 of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and for other charges details of complete transaction is required.

Of course, you have every right to that woman not just for civil defamation but criminal defamation as well. That woman had no right to share that video and by doing so, she has maligned the reputation of your daughter and yours as well.
