SIMULTANEOUS FIR AND CR FOR THE SAME ACCUSATION

Can a person lodge an FIR against the accused and on same day also file a CR case in court of CJM for the same accusation. Is this allowed ? How will investigation proceed in such a case and the accusation is cognizable. The accused person is under double burden for the same accusation.

Yes. This can be done easily. The police will be doing the investigation at one end and submit reports from time to time before the CJM. Please contact so that I can take the details and help you in a better manner. Regards, Shayan I hope this helps.

dear client, legally it is not possible... court will itself be able to know through the concerned police officials that the FIR has already been registered... even if police does not inform, you may yourself apprise the court about this fact...
