Residential dog attack on my dog

Owner own a breed which is banned dog
He attacked my German Shepard and he Is hospitalized. Owner did not pay any compensation. Society managers Also said We can't do anything. Wrote a police complaint but they said nothing happens in such cases

According to the prevention of cruelty of animals act , 1960 . You will get the compensation and an F.I.R can be lodged if you have any cctv footage or video proof in which your dog was attacked.
You can also file for suit for damages under section 73 and 75 of the Indian Contract Act, 1872.

you can file the case under section 289 IPC and if grievous injury is there then section 338 of IPC, under the new act correspondingly, (applicable) and plus in civil law you can get the damages compensation
