Reply by defense in criminal revision

Can the defense counsel delay its reply in final arguments during criminal revision? . The court has heard the prosecution and has already given till now 2 dates to defense to file reply either orally or in written. But the defense its taking adjournments only. : For how much time can defense delay the proceedings?n : what action can prosecution take?n : Can prosecution give more add on to its written statement before defense starts to give reply?
1. in a revision petition, they respondent is directed by the court to file their reply.
2. there is no time limit prescribed for filing a reply in a criminal revision
3. however the judge will close the opportunity to file a reply if not filed within a reasonable time
