Relevance of Anticipatory bail after chargesheet has been submitted

06-Nov-2023 (In Criminal Law)
Learned members, I have been grated interim bail by the High Court on application for Anticipatory bail for allegations under 120B,420,409,37. Meanwhile the police has submitted charge sheet and charged me under 120B in the charge sheet. The next hearing of Anticipatory bail application is due next month. Since the charge sheet has already been submitted, Is there any use to securing Anticipatory bail? Many thanks in advance

Sir, Pre Arrest Bail (Anticipatory Bail) once granted will continue till end of trial. Filing of Charge Sheet will not create any predicament in hearing and allowing your Pre Arrest Bail Application. Just filing of charge sheet does not mean that Application for pre-arrest bail cannot be granted.
In the Sections mentioned by you, in place of 37, I think it would be 34.
This could have been explained by your lawyer also, who had filed your bail application.
Regards
