Regarding police verification for govt job

Sir, I got selected as professor. E-complaint ncr was registered against me about maligning post on social media but compromise happened ithe n police station. Complainant give written application to close complain. Here point is I m neither arrested prosecuted and nothing trial happen. And in police verification form I have submitted NO everywhere about police verification. Can it effect on govt job. Plz help me regarding it.
