I helped with his paperwork, but after arriving, his father filed false 45-lakh fraud case against me in India. We divorced mutually in Canada, but I want to clear this

Since the case is filed in India, you will need to contest it under Indian law. If the fraud allegations are false and filed out of retaliation, you can seek appropriate legal remedies such as anticipatory bail (if required) and filing for quashing of the FIR before the High Court. Preserve all proof of shared expenses, financial records, communication, and your mutual divorce decree from Canada to establish your defence. You should consult a lawyer in India with complete documents to take immediate legal steps and protect your rights.
