An "emergent notice" is a court notice issued in urgent situations requiring immediate attention. In legal terms, "emergent"means arising suddenly or needing prompt action. Under the Code of Civil Procedure (CPC), such notices are served when quick court intervention is necessary such as when a party seeks urgent relief like a temporary injunction and the court decides to hear the other side without delay before passing any order.
